I’m Christian — a Yorkshireman in my late twenties, now calling the Gold Coast home. I’ve kept the accent, the manners and a sense of humour that’s rather less formal than the tailoring.

I take care of my appearance, but don’t mistake that for taking myself too seriously. My humour is dry, my teasing affectionate, and I have a weakness for a woman who can catch me off guard with a clever reply. I’m comfortable taking the lead without needing to command every conversation. Sometimes, listening is far more interesting.

I like deep eye contact and conversation that moves beyond the expected. Tell me something in passing and don’t be surprised when I remember it next time. Depending on what you’ve confessed, there may be a little teasing involved.

Away from the tailoring, you’ll find me training, on a golf course or deciding where to explore next. I appreciate old architecture, the lines of an Aston Martin and an Old Fashioned over dinner. There’s also an enthusiasm for The Lord of the Rings that the photographs probably didn’t prepare you for.

Whether we’re dressing for an occasion or settling into a quiet corner over dinner, expect conversation that moves beyond the predictable.
