Everyone wears a mask.

The professional mask. The social mask. The family mask. The version of ourselves that is easiest for the world to understand.

I simply choose mine deliberately.

I am also a highly-experienced Fantasy Dom, a ruthless master of impact, and a middling rope player. No journey is inherently too strange. Some merely require better planning. Impact play on an ayahuasca retreat, for example, is probably not where we begin.

I enjoy creating scenarios rather than merely assembling a menu of implements. Characters, costumes, environments, restraints, rules and psychological games can all become part of the experience. We establish the fantasy together, decide where reality must firmly intrude, and then explore what remains.

Compassion, consent and aftercare are not decorative words added because the internet demanded them. They are what make serious exploration possible. Limits are discussed beforehand. Consent remains meaningful throughout. Aftercare is part of the encounter, not an awkward epilogue while somebody searches for their trousers.

And yes, I wear masks.

They make me feel mysterious, which is admittedly rather theatrical, but that comfort translates into my demeanour. They also afford me a useful degree of freedom on social media. On our dates I will consider masks depending upon the fantasy and activity, but they are not a limiting factor.
