You knew this day was going to eventually come. You’re a fresh-faced escort looking to branch out and hone your craft in the bedroom –but somehow this topic just makes you feel a little icky.
How are you supposed to address a complete stranger as…daddy? I suppose this goes out for the majority of titles. Daddy, Sir, Master, whatever your client sees fit; initial hesitation to the vast world of BDSM titles is understandable especially in early stages of the business.
One thing that sex therapists can agree on when it comes to BDSM is the significant power play. Because of this, the masochist will often be dubbed the “baby” or the “pet” who in turn addresses her partner in a way that allows her to understand his dominance in the relationship (daddy, etc.) What happens here is an understanding between both parties where one assumes the role of the dom and the other the sub –a harmony that can only be achieved through constant reminders of titles!
This is why it’s important to understand that your client is most likely not thinking about replacing the role of your actual father, he merely wants you to call him something that is associated with powerful masculine energy. By dong so, it’s even easier for you to fit into your role as the sub and having your “daddy” take complete care of you during your time together! It’s also not the worst thing in the world to have someone who knows precisely what he’s doing ;)
So the next time a client comes to you with the hopes of you addressing him in the light of a title, keep in mind that you’re not obligated to feel guilty towards your dad. It’s really not that deep –just live and let live!
Love,
Rose.
