Jeff remained in his seat as he typed frantically at his desktop, the vividly colorful lights creating an unusual brightness across the empty workplace area. On a typical Friday evening, Jeff was thinking a lot about approaching the due date, whereas the majority of his colleagues had left for home to begin their weekends. He breathed out as he checked his watch and discovered it was past midnight.
Jeff had a plan of action to close up his operations for the evening when he perceived a modest sound emerging from the hallway. He eventually said, “Absolutely, I would love to?” with a grin on his entire face. With the vibrancy of the evening’s enthusiasts filling the air, they headed to a neighboring tavern. Jeff became engrossed in their casual conversation and chuckled as they sat at an area and placed their alcoholic beverage orders. Compared to the strict decorum of the workplace, it served as a welcome change of place, and he enjoyed the chance to unwind.
Jeff noticed that he was becoming more and more attracted to the two women as the evening went along, and the booze kept coming.
