Restrictions are starting to lift up all across Australia, however, while we wait for a vaccine or a more stable environment, gyms can still be a bit scary to go to for some people. It is completely normal that waiting a bit longer to go to a gym might be required so, there’s only one option left
Working out at home might be the safest way to workout at the moment (apart from jogging around the neighbourhood) because, not only are you in the comfort of your own home and you know exactly what goes on it but, you’re also safe from encountering other people!
Exercising at home doesn’t have to be complicated though and it can actually be as good as doing it at a gym so, today, we will touch on some of the best workouts that you can do from the comfort of your own home!
Yoga
Yoga is a great exercise to do at home and, chances are, if you are a practitioner of yoga, you were probably already doing it from the comfort of your own home, to begin with!
It is the kind of exercise that might seem like it’s more spiritual than anything else but, even though that is part of it, it is not completely the case! Sure, Yoga is used for spiritual purposes as well, since it is known to, not only relax but open the mind and such.
Even though you can surely light up some candles and incense and delve into the spiritual aspect of it, Yoga is an exercise that actually works out almost every single muscle of your body! Depending on how intensive you want the workout to be, there are many positions that work several different parts of the body to the core!
This is the kind of exercise that will definitely make you sweat and relax at the same time!
Squats
We are at the age of the big booty! Big booties are all the rage right now and, they’re actually not that hard to achieve plus, you can do it in the bedroom, living room or even in the shower! This is the perfect kind of workout to do because of how easy and simple it is!
All you have to do is get your feet shoulder-width apart, tense your abs and look straight ahead and, once that is done, you just have to move as if you were about to sit, going lower, trying not to bend your knees too much!
This is the kind of exercise that yields amazing results without requiring any tools or a lot of space!
Cardio
Cardio is pretty easy as well, provided you don’t have a very low ceiling! It is all about getting your heart rate up and moving so, doing jumping jacks ( where you jump and raise your arms) and burpees ( where you go from a perfect plank to a jumping position and so on) can do the job just fine, without having to use any equipment!
