Relax, once you get there you’ll have time to learn how to spell it if you didn’t manage it the first time (spoiler: I didn’t either). I’m sure you will want to visit Woolloomooloo, and the it won’t be only because of its wonderful theatres or art galleries this time. The number of pubs located here is astonishingly high, and so are the chances of meeting very interesting people (spoiler: I did). I particularly liked The Baxter Inn and Yellow, if you happen to visit Woolloomooloo I’d definitely give them a try. Who knows which surprises a lonely night in a pub could reserve…
Hornsby
My favorite one. This place was a paradise to me. To be honest there’s not so much to do as regards work, but I wanted to mention it because I’d feel guilty if I didn’t suggest you to visit this suburb. When the time for me to Leave Berowra Park and Berowra Creek came, it truly was heartbreaking. I didn’t expect I’d love it so much. There’s not much to do in Hornsby except for excursions and hiking, but trust me, it’s worth a visit.
Darlinghurst
Another paradise, but in a totally different sense. Forget everything you’ve just read and make sure you have your nicest clothes with you. There will be plenty of time and occasions to toss ‘em away on an unknown floor: once you set foot into Darlinghurst, prepare to party. There’s literally. No. way. You can’t find something or someone that suits to your tastes. The movida in this suburb is amazing. Something I loved about Darlinghurst was its being a point of reference for the LGBT community: walking along Oxford street you’ll know what I mean. As I said, there’s no way you leave this suburb unsatisfied… or that you let someone do so.
