For those avid readers of the blog, it comes as no surprise that I’ve been in the escorting businesses for a good while now. Being a senior in the industry, there are little that remains to shock me (I’ve seen it all!) but all that changed when I picked up my first female client.
For the story’s sake, we’ll call her Sonya.
Sonya marked a historical day for me, as the first female client I’ve picked up on all my years in the business. She found me on the same site most of them do, and immediately messaged me. I’m not ashamed to admit that I had little to no idea how to respond to this woman, as she she struck me as something of a wild card. She was a freelance graphic designer and took immense pride in her work, something that I came to both admire and fear on our first day of meeting. The woman was a force to be reckoned with –full of laughter and snarky humor, a combination that made her irresistible.
I wouldn’t say Sonya was a conventionally attractive woman. Her hair was cut awkwardly, she wore hawk-frame glasses and she always bore on a stern face when she was in public. All her steely resolved however, melted away the minute I was left alone with her in the apartment. Perhaps something I haven’t received from male clients, Sonya went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable before anything had even begun. We started to make out after about an hour of good conversation and ended up in bed together.
I didn’t understand just how much of an emotional situation it was until Sonya began to cry.
Crying during sex was something that somehow always weirded me out, but with Sonya her pain seemed genuine. She told me about her failed relationships, unaccepting parents and unforgiving job that almost made it impossible for her to meet anyone new. It was then and there I realized that escorting for women ranges at a whole different level for women. It goes through layers of emotional trauma, it sculpts them into a person who genuinely needs a shoulder to cry on instead of just to fulfil their sexual wants and needs.
Sonya was definitely a lesson to dealing with women who ask for escorts –and I’ve never forgotten her since.
Xoxo,
Rose.
