As the years go by, the interest for transgender women have skyrocketed over the past few years, with countries like Brazil, Italy and Russia experiencing increased search queries for ‘trans porn’ as a category. It really isn’t surprising then that transgender escorts continue to pop up more and more in the news as well as between the sheets of various high-paid celebrities, singers and businessmen.
I completed my transition to becoming a transgendered woman 8 years ago, 6 of which I’ve been involved in the business of escorting. Being a transgender woman isn’t exactly a walk in the park, and when you tell people that you also double as an escort –you understandably don’t get many warm reactions. To be fair, many people are curious to know more without being judgmental, which is why I’ve narrowed down some common questions I get paired with answers that will hopefully satiate your restless mind. Enjoy!
1. Do you service men or women?
A: Honey, I’m honestly the last person to discriminate. I service all those in need of a little TLC! Although the majority of my clientele would have to be men ranging from their 30’s to 60’s. Businessmen too, mostly.
2. How do your family and friends feel about your lifestyle?
A: I suppose how every family member of friend would feel if I were cis. It took time for my family to accept my transition, but they were not so crazy about the whole escorting thing. I made a lot of my current friends in the same business –so we’re basically family too and love each other dearly.
3. Do you charge extra for being a transgender escort?
A: I wouldn’t say I charge a ridiculous amount, but I definitely balance try my best to balance out my wants and needs according to where I am in life at the moment. It’s just like any job really! When you’ve been doing something for as long as I have, you’d want a fancy new promotion or some form of recognition, wouldn’t you?
4. How does what you do differ from what cis escorts do?
A: The essence of what we do is the same, we’re there to satisfy our client and then leave. However, indiscretion proves to be a little tougher for us. We usually don’t get the usual dinner and drinks due to some men being embarrassed from being seen out with a trans woman as you can almost definitely tell what they’re there for. With a cis woman it can just seem like a regular date. It’s disheartening sometimes, but I’m always hopeful that as the years go by, we become more evolved and open-minded as a human race.
5. Are all the men that meet with you gay men?
A: That’s actually another really common misconception that people have about us. Almost all the guys that I meet with are completely straight! Besides if they were gay, why not just hire a male escort? I know it’s a little confusing, but at the end of the day these men still want to be with someone who still looks like a woman, feels like a woman and still be penetrated –a very common fantasy for straight men.
To wrap it up, transgender escorting is here and here to STAY. It’s an unbelievably common practice nowadays, so if you come across a trans woman in service, always keep an open mind and heart. Much love to all of you!
