Everything about the life I knew changed the day I met Caroline. She was an exotic looking lady with dark hair and darker eyes in her early 40s. She said she was from New York. Apparently, she was in Australia for business but had taken a few weeks off for a holiday.
When I first met her, she was walking along the beach and she asked me for surfing lessons. I was still in university and I figured that any bit of extra money helped. So I said yes.
Caroline turned out to be a pretty good surfer for a beginner. She was also good company and I enjoyed talking to her. We mainly discussed tourist spots and what she could do in Australia with her time. I tried to ask her more about her life and her business, but each time those subjects were brought up, she would avoid them.
At the end of our week together, I had to admit that I was smitten by her. She was a good looking lady, she was fun and she was a mystery! I decided that I wanted to know more about her and plucked up my courage to ask her for a date. She surprised me by asking me first.
I was more than happy to accept her invitation. We went to a seafood restaurant along the beach, and ended up at a club. Caroline reached into her purse and handed the money over to me, downed the remaining of her drink and grabbed my hand to lead me out. I was tingling with the buzz from the alcohol and my mind wasn't very sure what was really happening. But it all became clear when we reached her hotel room.
Caroline ended up spending another week with me. I remembered when I sent her off at the airport, she gave me a cheque which I did not refuse. A few days later, I received a text from her to say that some of her friends were coming over and would I be kind enough to show them around.
For two years, I entertained many of Caroline's friends who came to Australia for visits. Caroline also helped me to set up my own website for escorting. I never thought it was a bad idea and my intention was to earn as much money as I could to set up my own surfing school. After five years as an escort, I finally managed to save enough.
I stopped escorting, opened my business, and met my wife Lisa. We were happily married at first and even more so when my two girls were born. But lately, with the pressure of my business failing, I'm beginning to slide into depression and this has affected our marriage.
I am unsure how my life will turn out to be and I'm thinking of escorting again, but I will turn 40 soon and I'm not sure if I will even have a market. However, this is one of the ways that I can think of to make sure my girls will be provided for, in the event that Lisa and I were to go our separate ways.
