In my world I deal with a lot of the dark side of humanity and one of my ways of dealing with the darkness is to seek out true beauty and purity. This keeps me (relatively) sane. One may question where visiting a courtesan fits in to this. Is that not just a deviant, secretive, false way of giving into the darkest desires of the flesh? Isn’t it filthy and depraved? Isn’t it objectifying and devaluing the women I meet and living in a fantasy world? No, no and no.

This week I spent a wonderful evening with Maddy Wilde and Sydney’s Ocean. If you want to challenge the stereotypes society constructs around sex work, I can think of no better way. I find it hard what to write next without descending into cliché but I learned something about myself in this encounter and I will be forever grateful for this time.

I was drawn to Maddy for her exquisite beauty, for the raw authentic purity she exudes and, to be absolutely honest, for the fantasy that created in my head about who she was and the chemical effects in my brain of the primal urges and desire that fantasising about being with her created. All of that was a lovely, invigorating, fun escapism in my head while I waited for our meeting. All of that evaporated from the moment Maddy opened the door.

You can see Maddy’s physical beauty for yourself in the images she generously includes on her website, but nothing will prepare you for the true beauty of the person Maddy is. Whatever society says and whatever constructs we make, we are sexual beings and stripping away the layers of social crap is a path to sharing a connection that enriches the soul and allows an integration of mind and body that we usually deny ourselves. This is no less true when for one party this is her profession. The commercial arrangement is not antithetical to having a true connection and intimacy if both parties allow that. The difference is whether the professional is authentic and whether the client is open to accepting that authenticity. I am also a professional. I get paid for what I do, and that is proper and appropriate. But at the same time for the time that I am engaged with each client, I am fully and authentically engaged. Because of this, the client gets to take away part of ‘me’ because what we create together is a pure and unique experience of one human being interacting with another.

This was my experience of Maddy and I know that what has become woven into my reality from this short and wonderful encounter will be with me for the rest of my life. Thank you Maddy and thank you Ocean. You both make the world a better place.

Maddy's self description is spot on. Her personality is wonderful; I challenge anyone to spend time in the same room with Maddy and not leave feeling happy. She can converse confidently on any level about just about anything, and because she is such a people person, she has an incredible store of experiences and thoughts to share for someone so young.

I'm quite certain I could spend a week with Maddy and just enjoy sharing her happy energy and engaging conversation. In fact I'd love to. However, I'll admit I might find it difficult to keep it at that level. Physically, she is spectacular; young, lithe and flexible, with a truly gorgeous slender body and a beautiful face and eyes, and her study of human nature has definitely included a very deep study of how to give and receive pleasure. I was fortunate to share an evening with Maddy and an equally spectacular friend of hers. Starting with a bit of wine while getting to know each other, we quickly progressed to one of the best encounters I've ever had. The details I will keep to myself, but I will say that two hours passed in what seemed, afterwards, to be far too short a time, a blur of fantastic sensations and passionate exchanges. Although it went by far too quickly, during the encounter there were quite a few of the sort of timeless moments that I cherish when having really spectacular sex ;)

I hope to see Maddy again, and again, and I'm sure that you will, too.
